Based on the bestselling book by Amélie Northomb, the film premiered at the Sitges International Festival last month and stars Tomasz Kot (Cold War), Marta Nieto and Athena Strates. Whilst the production was still filming, I was so moved after reading the script for the first time - so sat at the piano and tried to put down some of the emotions that came out; thinking about how those children must have felt arriving in Windermere after being freed from Auschwitz and Theresienstadt weeks before.
