Very happy that The Windermere Children is being broadcast today on BBC Two (UK) and ZDF (Germany) on Holocaust Memorial Day – the first drama of it’s kind to be broadcast simultaneously like this in the UK and Germany.
It was hugely special composing the music for this film (I’ve written in other posts about how personal the stories are… and the instruments used in the score) and I’m so happy the film has already gained such a wonderful response.
I attended a press screening not too long ago along with the cast and the survivors featured in the film, and it was an incredibly emotional afternoon – not a dry eye in the room – to be there and involved in this project has been an absolute privilege.
